Simon Belancic

Advisor

In addition to his day job as an IT professional, Simon works hard behind the scenes to ensure our services and content are delivered in a way that is meaningful to our customers. His ability to explain the concepts of Psychology and Wellbeing in everyday language helps us to ensure our services and content are accessible and welcoming.

Simon has made it his mission to embed the principles of Positive Psychology into his everyday life. He lost his father to mental illness at a very young age. This, combined with his own battle with mental illness in 2017, led Simon to look at life in a completely different way. Simon’s resilience, determination and zest for life has had a tremendous influence on the evolution of The Happiness Lab.

Simon enjoys travelling, surfing, camping and catching up with his family and mates. His life highlights are marrying his beautiful wife, becoming a father to his wonderful daughter, and travelling to remote destinations in Australia and around the world. Simon strives to live to his core values of curiosity, care, commitment and contribution in all that he does.
